In “Laudato Si”, Pope Francis has made it clear that ecological and social injustice have gone hand in hand. Caring for our Mother Earth and for all of creation cannot be separated from caring for our poorest people and for all creatures in need. With “Laudato Si” Pope Francis wrote a truly integral ecology, bringing together issues of climate change and social issues of solidarity. Are we our brother’s keeper? Yes, of course we are.

For his remarkable and courageous choices, Pope Francis will always be remembered as an unforgettable leader.
